About Post : Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) invites online applications for direct recruitment to Group C posts from the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group-C qualified candidates. Candidates who had applied against Advertisement no. 3/2023 dated 07.03.2023 have to apply afresh for these posts on the basis of their CET registration no. Apply online from 21.07.2024 to 31.07.2024.

The examination will follow a specific pattern with multiple-choice questions in both English and Hindi. The offline (OMR-based) written examination will consist of 100 compulsory questions, each carrying 0.975 marks. There is no negative marking for wrong answers, but 0.975 marks will be deducted for each unattempted question. The total time allowed for the paper is 105 minutes, including an extra five minutes for marking if the candidate does not know the answer. The syllabus covers various topics detailed in Appendix-C.

General Awareness | Questions designed to test the general awareness of the environment and its application to society. Topics include current events, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity, Indian Constitution, scientific research, etc. |
Quantitative Aptitude | Includes questions on number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time, time and work. |
English Language | Tests the candidate's understanding of the basics of the English language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, and correct usage. |
