- A Second Class post-graduate degree in the concerned subject (Hindi, English, History, or Political Science) with at least 48% marks, along with a Shiksha Shastri/B.Ed. degree.
- A Shastri or equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination with Sanskrit medium and a Second Class Acharya degree or equivalent Sanskrit medium examination in the concerned subject with at least 48% marks, along with a Shiksha Shastri degree or equivalent.
