The preliminary examination will consist of two compulsory papers. Each paper will be worth 200 marks and have a duration of two hours. Both papers will be of objective type with multiple-choice questions. Paper-I will have 150 questions, while Paper-II will have 100 questions. Paper-II of the preliminary examination will be a qualifying paper with the minimum qualifying marks set at 33%.
